Precision and Innovation in Aluminum Solutions
Vimetco Extrusion, ALRO’s downstream subsidiary, is a leading Romanian aluminium extrusion company, continuously expanding since its production launch in 2006. Based in Slatina, Romania, we operate three modern extrusion lines (two 7-inch presses, one 10-inch press) with an annual capacity of 35,000 tonnes. Our advanced equipment produces profiles up to 420mm wide and 15,000mm long, covering a diverse range of shapes and sizes. Through innovation and investment in technology, we have grown from 5,000 tonnes in 2007 to over 32,000 tonnes in 2024, with more than half being value-added, fully finished products. True to our motto, “Committed to perfection,” we deliver high-quality aluminium solutions across Europe and beyond.

Innovation in Aluminium Extrusion
Vimetco Extrusion offers a true One-Stop-Shop experience for aluminium profiles – from concept and design to final finished product. We not only extrude aluminium profiles, but also provide a wide range of downstream services to deliver ready-to-use components.
Our certified welding department (EN ISO 3834, EN 1090) provides TIG/MIG welding for frames, scaffolding, solar mounting systems, bridges, and more, ensuring structural integrity and durability.
We cut profiles to custom lengths with fine tolerances, including angle cutting, CNC milling, hole punching, and threading. Our fabrication team also handles deburring, vibro-finishing, and custom assembly.
We offer anodizing (5µm–20µm) in multiple shades and powder coating in RAL colors (gloss or matte finishes) for enhanced appearance and protection.
Our core business focuses on engineered profiles, designed for functionality and weight optimization.
We serve diverse industries, delivering tailored aluminium solutions with precision and expertise.
We produce a variety of bars, tubes, pipes, angles, and more, available in multiple dimensions and alloys, conforming to EN standards.
